At coffee cove we stayed at a really old house. It was really small compared to the houses today. The stairs to the second floor were long and narrow. The second floor is where us kids slept. It had a double bed, cot, and desk. Down stairs in the room where mom and dad slept had a double bed and a dresser. The kitchen had some antiques. There was a bowl or pot that was made out of glass or metal. The house has some history in it too. The family who lived there a long time ago had 11 children. The father made the whole house all by himself. Well maybe with some help from his wife. The wife was a midwife. So she had the children cooked etc... In the morning when we were packing up we saw this newfoundland dog named Nicky. He was so cute. He was a brown and grayish blackish color. We all loved Nicky. Especially me and mom. I didn't want to leave without him. Mom kept on taking photos of him too. Nola was our hostess. She told us about Nicky and some of the history of the place and people who lived there. And that is what we did at Coffee Cove.
